Multi-Vehicle Crash Closes Highway 63 Bridge to Nowhere North of Fort McMurray
Northbound traffic on the Highway 63 bridge north of Fort McMurray came to a halt Thursday morning following a multi-vehicle collision. Wood Buffalo RCMP say the road remains impassable. Injury details have not been released. Drivers are asked to avoid the area and expect significant delays.

Fort McMurray's $50 Million Northside Twin Arena Opens This Fall. Ten Years in the Making.
The Northside Twin Arena at 117 Abraham Place in Fort McMurray is scheduled to open Fall 2026. The $50 million facility adds two new ice surfaces to the city's north end with 300 seats per rink, 10 change rooms, and 250 parking spots. Construction began September 2024 after a decade of stops and starts.
