Account Manager

YOU LOVE BEING PART OF A team WHERE EVERYONE counts.

The Opportunity

Some people dread the thought of paying bills or balancing their cheque book. Not you. Heck, you’re not even afraid to admit that you get a bit of a thrill from balancing the books. You’re in your element when solving problems and thinking about the big picture, but you also pay close attention to the details. And we like that about you.

The Team You've Been Looking For

As a wholly owned subsidiary of AMA, we share a proud legacy of service and a commitment to doing the right thing for our customers, our communities, and each other. At Bridgewater Bank, you'll be part of a nimble, forward-thinking organization where your ideas matter, your contributions are valued, and your growth is encouraged. We’re driven to make a positive impact, and our close-knit culture values flexibility, innovation, and genuine connection.

• Employer-paid retirement savings program
• Employee-exclusive discounts on travel, insurance, memberships, and more
• Free travel medical insurance for you and your immediate family

• Flexible work models that make sense for your lifestyle

For us, curiosity fuels innovation. We value people who are eager to explore new ideas and who are comfortable putting emerging technologies into practice. We see experience with AI‑powered tools like ChatGPT, Copilot, and similar platforms as a real plus - especially when it’s used to work smarter, increase efficiency, and find better ways to get things done.

• You’re all about customer service, whether you’re dealing with internal or external clients.
• You’ve got integrity and a strong work ethic in spades!

How You'll Make an Impact

• Oversee and guide the foreclosure or power of sale process for mortgage files held by Bridgewater Bank.
• Communicate daily with various internal and external partners, ensuring the legal action is moving forward in the process. Communication takes place via email, phone, and external platforms.
• Mitigate possible losses by controlling the costs incurred to protect our security in the property, the cost of the legal action and negotiating the sale price of properties that have been through the legal action.
• Complete regular loss provisioning on each mortgage file in excel, outlining costs incurred and anticipated sale value as well as hypothetical losses based on possible title issues or extensive wear and tear to the property.
• Negotiating the final sale price of a property, which may determine the loss or profit Bridgewater Bank may incur
• Report accurate and complete financial and operational data to internal parties within established timeframes.
• Oversee the legal action from beginning to end, commencing the action with the law firm, reviewing, and negotiating payment arrangements, correcting title defects, and completing the sale or transfer to the mortgage insurer.
