At ATB, we exist to make it possible for our clients, team members and communities. Our purpose is more than aspirational. It's a real commitment we live every day through our values (what we call the ATB ID).

Life at ATB is about more than work. In fact, we’re consistently recognized as one of Canada's top employers thanks to our high-care, high-performance culture, upheld by the three commitments we make to our team members:

Impact in action: No matter where you are in the organization, you're empowered to make an impact in the lives of our clients and communities.

Thrive together: We want you—the unique, authentic you—to feel safe and celebrated at work. We're on a continuous journey to build the most flexible and inclusive programs.

Ready for tomorrow: We want to enable your success through interesting and challenging work, performance enablement, and learning and development.

About the Role

Please note: This is a temporary 14 month term opportunity.

As ATB’s next Business Coordinator, you are a part of the Underwriting & Sales Support Senior leadership team and will be responsible for providing specialized support primarily to the Associate Vice President of Underwriting & Sales Support Teams in Business Banking and Associate Vice President of Portfolio Management Teams in ATB Capital Markets. This position also supports 30 leaders within these two business units with various requests, as well as managing the administrative functions of the group in a fast-paced environment with constant shifting priorities. We are looking for someone who loves nothing more than delivering exceptional service to their leaders and team and someone who takes pride in being able to build strong relationships that encourage collaboration and teamwork.

Accountabilities

• Serve as the team’s primary operational hub, managing day-to-day logistics, team communications, and team member recognition/milestones to foster an engaging, supportive environment.
• Provide comprehensive coordination for leadership and team members, including complex calendar management, resource tracking, distribution lists, and technology requests.
• Coordinate the onboarding journey for new team members (following ATB’s myStart program), including role training, IT asset procurement, and workspace setup.
• Plan and execute meeting logistics for internal and external events, handling agenda preparation, venue selection, vendor management, and on-site support.
• Review, code, and submit invoices and expense reports while monitoring team budget adherence and resolving financial reconciliations.
• Partner with diverse business units across the organization to anticipate operational needs, streamline workflows, and drive process efficiencies.
• Draft, format, and distribute high-quality, sensitive correspondence, reports, presentations, and communications across all levels of the organization.

Skills, Experience & Requirements

• 3+ years of progressive administrative support experience in a fast-paced environment.
• A degree or diploma in Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent work experience) is preferred.
• Advanced skills in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, Calendar) and general office productivity tools.
• Exceptional written and verbal business communication skills with an unwavering commitment to handling sensitive, confidential information.
• Proven time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage competing demands while maintaining high attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners at all organizational levels.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and resource-driven approach to anticipating problems and implementing smart, simple solutions.

Don’t meet all the requirements on the list?
A resume only goes so far in expressing who you are and the unique perspectives you bring. If you believe your skills and experience align with the role—but you might not check all the boxes—we want to hear from you. We encourage candidates from all work backgrounds, equity-seeking communities and experience levels to apply. If you’re seeking a career where your drive, perspective and growth are celebrated, we want to hear from you.

We’re dedicated to building a workforce reflective of those within our communities, and a culture where our team members are equipped with what they need to succeed—their way. Part of creating an inclusive workplace is recognizing our role in advancing Truth and Reconciliation. We are committed to meeting and exceeding the standards set out in the Partnership Accreditation in Indigenous Relations program created by the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business.
