Clerk II - Snow and Ice Enforcement Team

Community Standards is looking for Administrative support to help support the Snow and Ice Enforcement Team.

What will you do?

• Create and manage Google spreadsheets of data and develop this data into graphics used for reports and presentations
• Review and process invoices
• Review and process tickets
• Serve as a front-line point of contact to internal inquiries
• Prepare letters, invitations, mailouts and promotional materials
• Coordinate meeting logistics and staff training requirements
• Other related duties as required

Qualifications

• Completion of the 12th grade of school including business subjects related to word and information processing OR completion of an appropriate certificate program from an approved business school
• Two years of diversified word and information processing experience

Skills required for Success

• Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare comprehensive, audience-driven reports
• Ability to prioritize work within a high-volume, multi-project environment
• Demonstrated ability to assist in the instruction of less experienced staff
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs and Sheets)
• Adaptability to the introduction of new tracking software (SAP, CRM, etc)

Conditions of Employment

• Hire is dependent upon a Police Information  Check satisfactory to the City of Edmonton

Work Environment

• This position operates in an in-person office setting. 
• The weekly hours of work for this position are currently under review and may change at a future time. Any changes will be made in accordance with the City of Edmonton/Civic Service Union 52 collective agreement and the incumbent will be notified in advance

Up to 2 temporary full time positions for up to 11 months

Hours of Work: 33.75  hours per week, Monday - Friday. Hours of work may be subject to the terms and conditions of a variable hours of work program

Salary Range: $26.640 - $33.081 (Hourly)
