Financial Analyst (Full-Time, Continuing)

The Financial Services team invites qualified applicants to apply for the full time continuing position of Financial Analyst to start preferably by November 3rd, 2026.

Reporting to the Director of Resource Planning, this position will be a financial consultant to other University departments as well as complete activities within the Financial Services department that supports the institution’s strategic priorities. Through the financial consultant role, the analyst will be instrumental in adding value by providing analysis, budgetary advice, training, reporting, risk identification and mitigation, business process recommendations, and proactive support to departments. Within the Financial Services department, this challenging role will be responsible for complex accounting and analytical functions, account reconciliations, yearend working papers, processing and approving accounting transactions and various projects as they arise. The University of Lethbridge is undertaking a job classification and compensation review for Administrative Professional Officer (APO) positions. As such, the salary range currently assigned for this position may be adjusted as a result of this project.
