About The Role:

The HRIS & Workforce Analytics Specialist is responsible for the administration, optimization, governance, and continuous improvement of Bethany's Human Resources Information System (Workday) while providing workforce reporting and analytics that support operational and strategic decision-making.
The position serves as the Human Resources subject matter expert for Workday, ensuring data integrity across the employee lifecycle, supporting leaders through meaningful workforce reporting, and improving HR processes through technology. The role bridges HR systems administration with workforce analytics to ensure the organization has reliable, timely and actionable workforce information.

What You Will Do:

Essential duties, responsibilities, and performance measures

Workforce Administration & System Optimization

Administer and optimize Workday and other workforce management systems, including UKG/Kronos, to support Human Resources operations. Coordinate system configuration, upgrades, testing, enhancements, releases, and integrations between HR, Payroll, Scheduling, Finance, and Information Technology. Ensure data integrity across integrated workforce systems, including employee information, organizational structures, timekeeping, attendance, leave management, and payroll interfaces. Develop user documentation, standard operating procedures, and provide training and support to HR, Payroll, Scheduling, and operational leaders.

HR Data Governance & Records Management

Maintain the integrity, accuracy and confidentiality of employee and organizational data. Oversee HR records including attendance, leave of absence, employment status, position and organizational data. Conduct routine audits and data reconciliation to ensure compliance. Ensure compliance with legislation, privacy requirements, collective agreements and organizational policies.

People Analytics & Workforce Reporting

Design and maintain dashboards and executive workforce reports. Produce operational reports including inactive casual employees, attendance, sick time, overtime, vacancies, turnover, recruitment metrics, headcount, seniority, probation, mandatory learning compliance and labour relations metrics. Translate workforce data into meaningful insights and recommendations. Automate recurring reports and respond to complex ad hoc reporting requests.

Business Partnership & Continuous Improvement

Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, Scheduling, IT and operational leaders to improve business processes. Identify opportunities to automate workflows and reduce manual effort. Support implementation of new Workday functionality and organizational initiatives. Champion continuous improvement and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

Education

• Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems or related discipline.
• CPHR designation is an asset.
• Workday certifications are considered an asset.

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years of progressive HRIS administration experience.
• Experience administering Workday or comparable HRIS.
• Experience with workforce reporting, analytics, payroll, time tracking and absence management.
• Experience in a unionized healthcare or continuing care environment is preferred

Asset Experience

• Advanced analytical and reporting skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Project management and continuous improvement mindset.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
