Identity Analyst

At ATB, we exist to make it possible for our clients, team members and communities. Our purpose is more than aspirational. It's a real commitment we live every day through our values (what we call the ATB ID).

Life at ATB is about more than work. In fact, we’re consistently recognized as one of Canada's top employers thanks to our high-care, high-performance culture, upheld by the three commitments we make to our team members:

Impact in action: No matter where you are in the organization, you're empowered to make an impact in the lives of our clients and communities.

Thrive together: We want you—the unique, authentic you—to feel safe and celebrated at work. We're on a continuous journey to build the most flexible and inclusive programs.

Ready for tomorrow: We want to enable your success through interesting and challenging work, performance enablement, and learning and development.

About the Role

Please note: This position has a hybrid work arrangement. On average, this means 1 day(s) on-site per week. Please note that this is subject to change due to business priorities.

As ATB’s next Enterprise Identity Analyst, you will be a strong team player with a knack for solving complex problems and translating technical information into action items. You’ll be accountable for assessing current Identity and Access processes and working with the team to implement IAM best practices. You will quickly become an expert in existing access workflows and work in partnership with the larger Enterprise Identity & Application Security team to develop new ones. Because cybersecurity operates beyond a standard 9-to-5, this role requires participation in an after-hours on-call rotation and schedule flexibility, which we actively support with a mutual give-and-take approach to your working hours.

• Manage and maintain user identities and access controls within Okta, ensuring compliance with security policies.
• Implement and monitor identity and access management solutions for Google Cloud Platform (GCP) resources.

• Develop and update documentation related to identity and access procedures for Okta, GCP, and on-prem environments.
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure all identity solutions adhere to regulatory requirements.
• Act as a representative of the Enterprise Identity & Application Security team working to promote strong partnerships with teams and stakeholders.
• Utilize ServiceNow to fulfill a high volume of identity-related requests with precision and efficiency.

Skills, Experience & Requirements

• 3+ years of general IT experience in an enterprise environment.
• 1+ year of hands-on experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) or cybersecurity.
• Strong experience managing and supporting Active Directory and Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.
• Hands-on experience configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Single
• Working familiarity with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
• Practical understanding of security concepts, specifically the Principle of Least Privilege and alignment with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to translate complex access controls into clear business terms.
• Experience operating within ServiceNow and ITIL v4 frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications (Assets)

• Active or in-progress industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, SSCP, Google PCSE, or equivalent cybersecurity credentials.
• Proficiency with Python and Shell scripting, specifically applied to automating ServiceNow IAM workflows.
• Hands-on development experience within an Agile environment.

Don’t meet all the requirements on the list?
A resume only goes so far in expressing who you are and the unique perspectives you bring. If you believe your skills and experience align with the role—but you might not check all the boxes—we want to hear from you. We encourage candidates from all work backgrounds, equity-seeking communities and experience levels to apply. If you’re seeking a career where your drive, perspective and growth are celebrated, we want to hear from you.

We’re dedicated to building a workforce reflective of those within our communities, and a culture where our team members are equipped with what they need to succeed—their way. Part of creating an inclusive workplace is recognizing our role in advancing Truth and Reconciliation. We are committed to meeting and exceeding the standards set out in the Partnership Accreditation in Indigenous Relations program created by the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business.
