Our Upgrading Planning team is looking for an experienced mechanical planning professional, to join us at our Base Plant location!

Minimum Requirements
5 or more years of planning and/or scheduling experience with equivalent technical and operational experience in the industry
Mechanical trade certificate, diploma or degree
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; advanced SAP proficiency, including work management, materials management, planning, scheduling, and procurement
Extensive knowledge of rotating and fixed equipment, piping, pumps, compressors and technical drawings
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary work across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and/or civil discipline is an asset
Strong budgeting, forecasting, KPI management, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities
Develop work packages and plan resources, materials, contractors, and vendors to safely and efficiently execute maintenance activities
Plan, prioritize, schedule, and monitor maintenance work to achieve safety, quality, cost, reliability, and schedule targets
Ensure maintenance activities planned comply with regulatory requirements, company standards, OEM recommendations, technical specifications, and safety procedures
Drive safe, reliable, and cost-effective asset performance by supporting operational integrity, mechanical reliability, environmental performance, and workforce productivity
Location And Other Key Details
You will work out of our Base Plant Mine in Fort McMurray, Alberta
If you reside outside of Fort McMurray, relocation of your primary residence to within 60 km of Fort McMurray is mandatory; relocation support will be provided
Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
Our business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines and the pay band will generally be based years of experience and scope of work
