Project Manager, Transportation

A career in transportation is more than bridges, roads, and rail. As we plan, design, and manage projects that move people and goods from Point A to Point B, we create connections that transform our communities. Every airport, road, bridge, port, or transit project is an opportunity to make communities safer, cleaner, and more resilient. Together, we’re making an impact around the world.

If you’re looking for a career that moves, join our team of professionals who are passionate about the future of transportation.

The North of 60 Transportation team is a vibrant group, focused on delivering innovative solutions for today’s civic challenges throughout the Territories and Western Canada. Building on each other’s talents, we collaborate across all disciplines to execute projects of all sizes and complexities – from roadway, traffic, structural, environmental, water, power, digital technologies, and more - to make our communities safer, more resilient, and exciting places to live and work.

We encourage our team to push the limits in an innovative and energetic environment, focusing on developing our team’s skillsets while advancing individual careers. We routinely engage with experts throughout North America, making the most of today’s technology and being the first to create new ones. We have three offices north of 60— Whitehorse, Yellowknife, and Iqaluit, the capital cities of the Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut, respectively—serving as hubs for project delivery across the territories. Because our northern teams are lean and deeply connected to the communities they serve, people working north of 60 take on broader roles, gain hands on experience, and contribute across the full life cycle of projects.

Living in Northern Canada takes grit! This is the land of dramatic seasonal variations – in temperature, weather and sunlight. Grit is what we need to build the complex engineering, environment and architectural projects that serve our communities.

Up here work-life balance truly exists. Whether you’re interested in an adventure filled with fishing, skiing, hiking and snowmobiling, or looking to live in a beautiful, small urban center, Whitehorse, Yellowknife or Iqaluit could be the place for you. Build your career AND enjoy your life!

Join us in forging thriving communities in the Yukon and Northwest Territories and Nunavut!
