Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform general labour duties to support shutdown and turnaround activities in industrial environments
• Assist tradespeople with maintenance, repairs, equipment replacement, and site preparation activities
• Handle and move materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently
• Conduct housekeeping duties, including cleaning work areas and maintaining an organized job site
• Support line break activities, equipment isolation, and other outage-related tasks as directed
• Follow all permit, isolation, and Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures to ensure safe work execution
• Adapt to changing priorities and support critical path activities in a fast-paced shutdown environment
• Maintain productivity and quality standards during extended shifts and compressed project schedules
• Participate in FLHAs, toolbox talks, and safety programs while contributing to a strong safety culture
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, tradespeople, and other crew members to achieve project objectives

Qualifications:

• Previous labourer experiencein industrial, construction, oil and gas, or maintenance environments is considered an asset
• Experience working on shutdowns, turnarounds, or outage projects is a must
• Ability to safely use common hand tools and equipment
• Strong understanding of workplace safety practices and procedures
• Ability to follow directions and work effectively in a team environment
• Comfortable working in physically demanding conditions, including lifting, carrying, climbing, and standing for extended periods
• Ability to work 10-12+ hour shifts, overtime, and consecutive days during shutdown periods
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and productivity
