Software Developer - Integration

TECH life AT AMA.

The Opportunity

You're a geek — and proud of it. You love building the systems that power great digital experiences. Whether it's developing APIs, integrating applications, creating scalable backend services, or helping shape technical solutions, you're always looking for smarter, more reliable ways to solve problems. We could use a passionate techy like you! As a Developer on our Information Services team, you'll design, build, test, and support backend solutions that help AMA deliver exceptional experiences for members and employees. You'll help shape technical solutions and turn business needs into secure, maintainable, and scalable software that delivers real value. At the heart of how we work is AI Spec-Driven Development, a disciplined approach where well-defined specifications guide AI Coding Agents in producing secure, maintainable, and testable software at speed. You won't just write code, you'll help define the specifications, requirements, and technical direction that enable AI to do it well, making strong engineering judgment, systems thinking, and spec quality some of your most valuable skills. Just as importantly, you'll bring a collaborative mindset and strong interpersonal skills that contribute to our positive, supportive, and high-performing team culture. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on meaningful solutions, help shape the future of software development at AMA, and grow your career in a creative environment with excellent benefits.
