Total Rewards Administrator - Red Deer - Central Alberta Co-op

Our Business Support Centre in Red Deer is looking for an Entry Level Total Rewards Administrator who has a passion for payroll and can juggle multiple requests from Team Members and Team Leaders to make their day a bit easier when it comes to Total Rewards. You have, eagle eyes and see the details, awesome communication skills and enjoy problem solving. That is a bonus.

We’re not just looking for a resume—we’re looking for a person. Someone who brings their full self to work, whether that means spreadsheets, colour-coded emails or fresh ideas for new processes because you thrive on making things more efficient.

Location: Red Deer | Full-time or Fractional – You Choose!

Wait... what’s “fractional”?

*Fractional work* means just that—a fraction of full-time and a fraction of the role (the part that you like the best!). Maybe you’re balancing other commitments, freelancing, parenting, studying, or planning your next great adventure. If you’re interested in part-time hours or more flexible work arrangements, we’re open to that. Let’s talk about what works for you.

Choose Your Own Adventure

We want to know what speaks to you, your passions and your skills.

• Thrive in fast-paced, detail-loving environments where juggling tasks is a sport.
• Like supporting people through written, phone, electronic, and in-person interactions—all while keeping things confidential and value-driven.
• Have a passion for Benefits, Medicals, Processing Separations—and generally being the secret sauce because we all know the Total Rewards department is super important.
• Keep data tidy, digital files organized and named correctly, and spreadsheets updated and color-coded – let's be honest, this is your jam.
• Want to make things more efficient and easier – update and create new processes and your co-workers will be crushing your to-do list like it’s a warm-up act while you are on holidays.
• Love forms and guiding people with what is needed for the forms— Forms are a big deal.

You Bring

• You have a CPP or like to get certified (but honestly, skills and flexibility matter more to us).
• Familiar with AB Employment Standards Code
• Experience with Benefits, Medicals, Separations or Onboarding (bonus points if both).
• Eagle-eyed attention to detail.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• A sense of discretion and professionalism (you’ll be dealing with confidential info).
• Computer confidence and the curiosity to learn new tech.
• Excellent time management skills and an ability to pivot when needed.
• A great sense of humour. Seriously. We laugh a lot.
• Ability to work some Saturdays & Sundays– it's Total Rewards, that is likely not a surprise (we have some options and can chat more). Pay period on then pay period off, not a full day only to check a few urgent emails and priorities. Let’s chat more in the interview!
