Forum rules

1. Be decent. Disagree with ideas, not people. No slurs, threats, harassment or doxxing. One warning, then a mute.
2. Keep it about Alberta where the room asks for it. Global Affairs and General are for the rest.
3. No spam, no self-promotion. Links are fine when they add to the discussion. Posting the same link in several threads gets removed.
4. Nothing promoting alcohol, gambling, nightlife or adult content. Threads about those topics as news can exist; threads selling them cannot.
5. Tragedies get care. On stories about deaths, crashes or crimes, stick to information and condolences. Speculation about victims is removed.
6. Report, do not retaliate. The flag on every post reaches a moderator. Three reports hide a post until it is reviewed.
7. Members only to post, free to read. New accounts are limited to 5 threads and 30 replies a day. Threads lock 30 days after the last reply.
8. Moderators have the last word. Posts can be moved to the right room, merged, locked or removed. Repeated problems end in a ban.
