An 11-Year-Old Child Has Died After Going Missing at Echo Dale Regional Park. Medicine Hat's Pools Are Closed Until Further Notice
Medicine Hat Police responded to a report of a missing 11-year-old child at Echo Dale Regional Park on Monday June 15 at approximately 2:17 p.m. The child was located at 3:30 p.m. and taken to hospital. The child died. Foul play is not suspected. All city-operated pools and aquatic facilities are closed until further notice. Echo Dale Regional Park remains closed.
