Calgary Council to Meet Behind Closed Doors Tuesday Over Budget Leak
Mayor Jeromy Farkas has called a special meeting for September 8 after Ward 14 Coun. Landon Johnston acknowledged leaking preliminary budget documents showing a 20.2 per cent property tax increase would be needed to fund every spending request. Alberta eliminated municipal codes of conduct last year.
