Edmonton 12-year-old Faisal Hussein identified as homicide victim after remains found north of Athabasca

Athabasca RCMP responded to a report of human remains in a rural area north of the town at 3:26 a.m. on Thursday, August 6. An autopsy the next day ruled the death a homicide and identified the victim as a 12-year-old Edmonton boy. He had not been reported missing. Police want dash cam footage from a four-and-a-half hour overnight window on Highway 813.
