Parker Wells Death Prompts Poilievre Call for National Alert for Vulnerable Missing Children

Pierre Poilievre and Mike Lake have written to the federal emergency management minister asking for a Canada-wide alert framework for missing vulnerable children, even when no crime is suspected. Both signed as fathers of autistic children. The minister has agreed to meet, while pointing out that provinces decide when alerts go out. Alberta says it will move on its own version this fall.
