South Edmonton Motorcycle Crash Kills 22-Year-Old Man, City's Second in Under a Week
A 22-year-old man died in hospital after losing control on the Calgary Trail ramp off Anthony Henday Drive on Sunday afternoon, Edmonton police say. It's the city's second motorcycle fatality in less than a week, after a 21-year-old rider was killed in southeast Edmonton on Aug. 19. They're the first two motorcycle deaths Edmonton has recorded all year, in a riding season that had run since spring without one. Police say speed was a factor in both.
