About this job
We are seeking a Graduate Assistant for a research project examining how teachers and principals collaborate to support students with profound and multiple disabilities. The project uses interviews and professional development workshops to develop case studies and communities of practice.

Work hours are flexible. Work may be completed on or off campus, with interview scheduling coordinated with participants.

Typical tasks:
- Conduct interviews with parents, teachers, and principals.
- Transcribe recordings, check transcripts for accuracy, and remove identifying information.
- Analyze interviews and workshop discussions using reflexive thematic analysis.
- Contribute to writing case studies, research reports, and manuscripts.
- Maintain confidentiality, organize research materials, and participate in research team meetings.
Qualifications:
- Current enrolment in a graduate program.
- Interest in education, disability, and qualitative research.
- Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Training and supervision will be provided; previous interviewing or qualitative analysis experience is not required.
