The Southern Alberta Medical Program is inviting applications for a Clerkship Coordinator (Program Administration 9). This is an AUPE full-time, 18-month term position that provides advisory, administrative, logistical, and program delivery assistance to SAMP leadership, preceptors, students (internal and external), and the Director of Clerkship for the delivery of the Undergraduate Medical Education (UME) curriculum for the Medical Doctor Program.

This in-person position is at ULethbridge main campus, with occasional travel to the UCalgary campus and/or surrounding communities in Southern Alberta.
The Clerkship Coordinator will:
- Act as a primary contact for information regarding scheduling and coordinating for Clerkship.
- Coordinate rotations, selection, and services in the SAMP UME office.
- Collaborate with UofC UME and Distributed Learning and Rural Initiatives (DLRI) to maintain course information, preceptor recruitment, and dissemination of information as required to staff, faculty, and students.
- Liaise with scheduling administrators across hospital disciplines, specialty offices, and clinical environments throughout Southern Alberta.
- Work as part of a team to support the day-to-day management of the SAMP clerkship by monitoring work flow, working with the SAMP leadership to ensure quality and accreditation standards are being met and contributing to developing action plans, with the Director, that meet program goals.
