Calgary Gets Canada's First Quantum Defence Hub With $20.3 Million From Ottawa at UCalgary's Quantum City
Defence Minister David McGuinty announced the Quantum Defence Innovation Secure Hub at the University of Calgary on Thursday. A U of C-led consortium gets $20.3 million over two years to build a secure environment where government, industry and academia can develop quantum technology for the Canadian Armed Forces.
