Edmonton Approves $10.4M Alberta Avenue Arts Hub With a Theatre and 24 Artist Housing Units
City council has approved a $10.4 million arts hub at 92 Street and 118 Avenue with a 200-seat black box theatre, artist-in-residence space, a marketplace and 24 affordable housing units for artists. The city is providing the land and $3.3 million. The site is the same one where a planned arts centre was demolished more than a decade ago.
