Edmonton Police Commission Cuts Public Speakers and Moves Meetings Online for the Rest of 2026
The Edmonton Police Commission has suspended public speakers and moved its September 17, October 22 and November 19 meetings to Zoom, citing feedback it describes as abusive and insulting. Written submissions will still be accepted. A former commissioner says the move will damage police legitimacy.
