Edmonton's 121 Street at Yellowhead Trail Is Closed Until November as Summer Rain Pushes Freeway Work

121 Street is fully closed from Yellowhead Trail to the VIA Rail station from September 1 to the end of November, a move the City says will let crews work more efficiently after a summer of record rainfall. Two lanes remain open on Yellowhead, local traffic only runs from 118 Avenue to VIA Rail, and CN Walker Yard access drops to right-in, right-out.
