Oxford Economics Names Edmonton a 'City to Watch' in 2026 Global Cities Index
Edmonton ranked 125th in Oxford Economics' 2026 Global Cities Index, behind Calgary at 69th. But Edmonton was the only Canadian city named to its new Cities to Watch list, with Oxford forecasting strong population and workforce growth.
