Contract Position: Instructor, University Studies (Education)

The Opportunity

Keyano College’s University Studies department is currently seeking a Contract Instructor to teach the following University Transfer course for the Winter 2027 semester:
· PESS 293 (Introduction to the Movement Activities of Children Aged 5 - 10)
Note: this is not a remote or hybrid work opportunity, you will be required to work on campus and relocate to Fort McMurray, AB

Duties & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be required to:
· Primarily teach their specific courses across the curriculum
· Maintaining office hours and student mentorship/engagement
· Maintaining professional competence and knowledge of subject matter

Qualifications

Required Qualification:
· Minimum Master’s degree in Education or a related field.
· Minimum of 2 years cumulative post-secondary teaching experience
· Significant teaching experience in K–12 settings
· Proficient with the use of learning technologies
· Excellent classroom management and instructional skills
· Demonstrated excellent communication, planning, time management, and organizational skills
· Dependable and resourceful team member with a proven track record of managing multiple competing priorities with a calm professional approach
· Commitment to inclusion and diversity

Compensation and Benefits
