Elections Alberta is running the largest election-worker recruitment drive in Alberta's history: a minimum of 60,000 workers are needed for the October 19, 2026 referendum, with thousands of positions at polling stations across Calgary.

- Count Supervisors, Count Coordinators and Counting Officers
Work dates
- Advance voting: October 13–17, 2026
- Referendum day: October 19, 2026
- Ballot counting: October 19–21, 2026
Who can apply
- Alberta residents 16 years or older (some roles require 18+) who are eligible to work in Canada
- A criminal record check is required, and workers must refrain from political activity during employment
- All positions include paid online and in-person training
