In this role, you will be part of the team responsible for managing the cash and short-term debt for the company.
- Job location: Calgary, Alberta
- Shift schedule: 5 x 2, 8-hour shifts*

* Please note, this position requires an early morning start time and occasional coverage of Canadian Natural office closures
Key Accountabilities:
- Prepare short-term cash forecasts and optimize cash management
- Management of short-term CAD and US debt programs
- Execute cash investments, foreign exchange hedging transactions and hedge accounting documentation as appropriate
- Manage incoming and outgoing letters of credit
- Support the share repurchase (NCIB) program and prepare required reporting
- Prepare reporting on Treasury activities on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
- Support the above functions in Canadian Natural’s treasury systems and/or excel models, as appropriate
- Collaborate with other groups within Canadian Natural as well as support external corporate and banking relationships
- Ad hoc requests and analysis from Management
What You Bring to the Role
- Post-secondary education in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, including time in a Treasury role.
- Completed a designation program (CPA or CFA)
- Required skills include intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, strong analytical, organizational and communication skills complemented with a strong work ethic
