Terry-Lynn Schaefer has been found safe.
Alberta RCMP shared the update after asking the public to help find the 47-year-old Sherwood Park woman.
"We are happy to report that missing person, Terry Lynn Schaefer, has been located safe," Alberta RCMP said. "Thank you for helping by sharing the message!"
Schaefer was last seen in Sherwood Park on Oct. 1, and last heard from on Oct. 4. Strathcona County RCMP asked for the public's help on Oct. 6, and asked people in Morinville, where she was known to spend time, to watch for her too.
RCMP haven't shared where she was found, and don't need to. What matters is that she's safe, and the search is over.
Thank you for sharing
To everyone in Sherwood Park, Morinville and across the Edmonton area who shared the appeal: thank you.
Missing person appeals work because people see them and pass them along. Now that Terry-Lynn is safe, share the good news too, so everyone who saw the first post knows she's been found.
