Ponoka RCMP are urgently asking Albertans particularly those in the Edmonton and Leduc areas to help locate a missing 15-year-old girl who hasn't been seen in over two weeks.

Jennifer Thom was last seen on February 26, 2026, in Ponoka, a central Alberta town of roughly 7,000 people located about 100 kilometres south of Edmonton. Mounties believe she was heading north toward Edmonton and Leduc, making the search area significantly wide.
The fact that nearly three weeks have passed since she was last seen makes the public's help especially critical.
Jennifer is described as:
Medium complexion
Black hair, brown eyes
5 feet 5 inches tall, 125 pounds
Last seen wearing a red hoodie, grey sweatpants, white runners, and carrying a grey backpack
If you've seen Jennifer or have any information on her whereabouts, contact the Ponoka RCMP Detachment at 403-783-4471.
