Talon Horton was last seen on February 16, 2026, and Red Deer RCMP say there is concern for her well-being. That phrase carries weight in police communications it signals investigators believe the missing person may be vulnerable or at risk of harm, rather than someone who simply left on their own terms.
Horton is described as 5'5" and approximately 100 pounds, with a light complexion, black hair, and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white hoodie, white sweatpants, and black shoes thin layers for a city currently under an extreme cold warning.
At -20°C, Environment and Climate Change Canada warns that exposed skin can begin to freeze within minutes for those caught outside without proper protection. For someone of Horton's slight build, the risk is compounded further.
Red Deer RCMP are urging anyone with information no matter how small to come forward immediately.
"If you have any information about her whereabouts, please contact us," RCMP said in a release issued February 18.
