Most Albertans on benefits have two or three deposits coming this month, and a few land earlier than you might expect.
AISH, ADAP and Income Support recipients already got their November money on Oct. 27. The next deposit, on Nov. 25, is for December. Families get the Canada Child Benefit on Nov. 20 and the Alberta Child and Family Benefit a week later, on Nov. 27. CPP and OAS arrive Nov. 26.
Here’s every date, what you could get, and what to do if a deposit doesn’t arrive.

AISH, ADAP and Income Support: Nov. 25
The Nov. 25 deposit covers December, not November.
Alberta pays these benefits four business days before the month starts, so rent and bills due on the 1st are covered. That’s easy to forget. If you spend the Nov. 25 deposit as if it were November money, December can get tight.
How much:
AISH: up to $1,940 a month for a single adult
ADAP: a core benefit of up to $1,740 a month
If you moved from AISH to ADAP in July, you may get $200 more. People transferred from AISH to ADAP get a $200 monthly transition benefit, which keeps them at the AISH rate of $1,940. It runs for 18 months, from July 1, 2026, to Dec. 31, 2027.
People who stayed on AISH, including those with severe developmental disabilities or palliative conditions, people in continuing care, and people 60 and older, keep the $1,940 rate.
Your actual payment depends on your income, who lives with you and other benefits. Since August, when two adults in the same household both get disability assistance, each partner receives 88 per cent of the individual maximum.

Canada Disability Benefit: Nov. 19
The federal Canada Disability Benefit pays on Thursday, Nov. 19, the third Thursday of the month as usual.
It’s for working-age adults with an approved Disability Tax Credit who meet the age, residency and tax-filing rules. The amount depends on income. If your yearly total is $240 or less, you may get it as one lump sum.
It’s tax-free. If you’re on AISH or ADAP, check with your caseworker how the federal payment affects your provincial benefit.
Canada Child Benefit: Nov. 20
The CCB lands Friday, Nov. 20.
Maximums from July 2026 to June 2027:
| Child’s age | Max per month |
|---|---|
| Under 6 | $679.75 |
| 6 to 17 | $573.58 |
Families with adjusted net income under $38,237 can get the full amount, which shrinks as income rises. A family with two kids under six could get up to $1,359.50 a month.
Families with a child who qualifies for the Disability Tax Credit may also get the Child Disability Benefit, up to $290 a month per child.
Heads-up: the next CCB payment comes early, on Dec. 11.
Alberta Seniors Benefit: Nov. 24
The Alberta Seniors Benefit pays Tuesday, Nov. 24. It’s a provincial top-up for lower-income seniors, separate from federal OAS.
This benefit year, the income limits are $32,690 for a single senior and $53,800 for a couple. The maximum is $3,946 a year for a single senior and $5,918 for a couple. Most people get less than the maximum, depending on income and living situation.
The next payment is Dec. 17.
CPP: Nov. 26
Canada Pension Plan payments arrive Thursday, Nov. 26. That includes retirement, disability, survivor and children’s benefits.
The 2026 maximum for someone starting their retirement pension at 65 is $1,507.65 a month. The average for new retirees at 65 is $858.34. Most people don’t get the max.
Next payment: Dec. 22.
Old Age Security and GIS: Nov. 26
OAS also pays Thursday, Nov. 26.
| Age | Max monthly OAS (Oct.–Dec. 2026) |
|---|---|
| 65 to 74 | $762.50 |
| 75 and older | $838.75 |
The Guaranteed Income Supplement comes in the same deposit, not on a separate date. Next payment: Dec. 22.
Alberta Child and Family Benefit: Nov. 27
This is the one families tend to miss. The ACFB is a separate provincial benefit, paid by the CRA, and it comes only four times a year: February, May, August and November.
So an eligible Alberta family could see two child deposits a week apart: the CCB on Nov. 20 and the ACFB on Friday, Nov. 27.
Maximum yearly base amounts, July 2026 to June 2027:
| Child | Max per year |
|---|---|
| First child | $1,529 |
| Second, third and fourth child | $764 each |
Families with employment income may also get a working component on top. It’s income-tested, so not everyone gets the max.
Veterans Disability Pension: Nov. 27
Veterans Affairs Canada pays the Disability Pension on Friday, Nov. 27. Amounts depend on your assessed disability. The next payment is Dec. 23.
Is there a groceries or GST payment in November?
No. The Canada Groceries and Essentials Benefit, which replaced the GST/HST credit in July, pays quarterly. This year’s payments went out July 3 and Oct. 5. The next is expected in January 2027, but the CRA hasn’t posted the exact date.
There’s also no Advanced Canada Workers Benefit payment in November. This year’s payments were Jan. 12, July 10 and Oct. 9.
What happened to the $100 Alberta Energy Rebate?
Applications closed Oct. 31, after the province pushed the original Sept. 30 deadline back a month.
AISH, ADAP, Income Support and Alberta Seniors Benefit recipients were enrolled automatically. If you applied before the deadline and haven’t been paid, check your status through the province’s rebate site.
What if your payment doesn’t arrive?
Don’t panic. A late deposit usually doesn’t mean the benefit has stopped.
Check the date. Every program runs on its own calendar, and AISH is paid before the month it covers.
CRA benefits (CCB, ACFB, Canada Disability Benefit): the CRA asks you to wait five working days after the payment date before calling.
AISH, ADAP or Income Support: contact your caseworker or Alberta Supports at 1-877-644-9992.
Check your banking details are up to date, especially if you’ve switched banks.
Cheques take longer than direct deposit.
Plan ahead: December comes early
Several December payments arrive earlier than usual because of the holidays:
| Payment | December date |
|---|---|
| Canada Child Benefit | Dec. 11 |
| Canada Disability Benefit | Dec. 17 |
| Alberta Seniors Benefit | Dec. 17 |
| AISH, ADAP and Income Support (for January 2027) | Dec. 22 |
| CPP | Dec. 22 |
| OAS and GIS | Dec. 22 |
| Veterans Disability Pension | Dec. 23 |
The one to watch is Dec. 22. For AISH, ADAP and Income Support, that deposit has to stretch through Christmas and all of January.
Dates are from published government payment schedules and can change.
