A blue MRU hoodie could help Calgary police identify a man wanted in an early-morning garage break-in.
Police have released security camera images after a fat bike was stolen from a southwest Calgary garage.
It happened at 4:22 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 22, in the 1700 block of 35 Avenue S.W. Police say a man broke into the garage and took the bike, which was mounted on the wall.
More than a month later, investigators are asking anyone who recognizes him to come forward.
What he looked like
Police describe the man as:
About 5 feet 7 inches tall.
Brown hair.
Wearing a blue MRU hoodie. MRU is short for Mount Royal University.
Patchwork-style pants.
Black shoes.

Police haven't publicly identified him, or said whether anyone has been charged.
Inside the garage, on the wall
The bike wasn't left on a rack or in an alley. It was inside a garage, mounted on the wall.
Police haven't said how the man got in, or how the bike was secured.
But CPS says storing a bike indoors isn't enough on its own. It recommends locking the frame and wheels to something solid, using more than one lock, and keeping garages and sheds locked.
Register your bike with Bike Index
If your bike is stolen, its serial number can be the difference between getting it back and never seeing it again.
Calgary police partner with Bike Index, a free online registry. You record your bike's make, model, colour, serial number and photos. If it's stolen, you flag it as missing, and anyone who checks that serial number, including police or someone buying a used bike, can see it's been reported stolen.
CPS says more than 50,000 bikes are now registered in Calgary, and hundreds of stolen bikes worth an estimated $330,000 have been returned to their owners through the program.
The serial number is usually stamped under the frame, near the pedals.

Found your stolen bike for sale online?
Don't set up a meeting with the seller yourself.
If your bike shows up on Facebook Marketplace, Kijiji or another site, CPS says to take screenshots of the listing, write down the ad number and the seller's details, and contact police. Have your Bike Index information ready to prove the bike is yours.
Keeping a bike in your garage safer
Lock the bike, frame and wheels, to something solid, even inside.
Keep the garage locked, including side doors.
Don't leave your garage door opener in your car, especially if it's parked outside.
Record the serial number and take clear photos.
Register it with Bike Index.
If it's stolen, report it to police and mark it stolen on Bike Index.
