River Cree Resort and Casino is hiring for Canada's first Hell's Kitchen, and the list runs from the top of the kitchen to the front door.
Twelve positions are posted: executive sous chef, assistant food and beverage manager, sous chef, junior sous chef, chef de partie, first cook, second cook, steward, host, server, server assistant and food runner.
We've collected the postings on one page: Hell's Kitchen at River Cree Resort.

When it actually opens
The date has moved.
Ramsay announced the restaurant in June 2025 with an early 2026 opening in mind. That slid to summer 2026, which is what River Cree's website says now. In February, CEO and general manager Vik Mahajan told CFWE the resort was targeting July.
July has come and gone without an opening. The resort is still not taking reservations.
Mahajan also said Ramsay may appear on opening day or shortly after.

Why the kitchen roles are worth a look
This is the eighth Hell's Kitchen and the first outside the United States. The others are in Las Vegas, Southern California, Miami, Atlantic City, Washington D.C., Lake Tahoe and Foxwoods, with Chicago announced.
For a cook in the Edmonton area, that matters on a résumé in a way most restaurant openings don't. The brand carries recognition anywhere in North America, and an opening team gets to say they were there for the first one in the country.
The menu is the other draw. Hell's Kitchen locations are known for beef Wellington, pan-seared scallops, lobster risotto and sticky toffee pudding. Mahajan has said the River Cree menu will also feature Indigenous cuisine inspired by Enoch Cree Nation, developed with Ramsay's team, using Alberta ingredients.
There's a training angle too. Mahajan told CFWE the resort is open to culinary students through a partnership with NAIT.

Front of house is where most of the jobs are
Six of the twelve postings are front of house or support: assistant food and beverage manager, steward, host, server, server assistant and food runner.
Those roles don't require culinary training, and for a room this size at a resort property they'll be the largest headcount. If you've worked serving in Edmonton and want a fine dining room on your résumé, this is the opening to watch.
River Cree hasn't published wage ranges for any of the positions.
If Hell's Kitchen isn't it
A dozen roles at one restaurant is a small number against how many people in the Edmonton area are looking, and an opening date that keeps moving is a hard thing to plan around.
Our job board at culturealberta.com/jobs carries current openings across Edmonton, Calgary, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, Grande Prairie and Fort McMurray. Kitchen and serving work, warehouse, retail, trades, office. Free to browse, no account, no sign-up wall between you and a posting.
The restaurant listings are worth a look regardless of how the Hell's Kitchen applications go, because openings in this city cluster. A property expanding the way River Cree is will be hiring again, and so will the places losing staff to it.
Employers post free as well. If you're hiring anywhere in Alberta, the listing reaches people in the city you're hiring in rather than a national board where your posting is one of forty thousand.
What else is being built
The restaurant is one piece of a larger expansion at River Cree.
An 18-storey hotel tower is under construction, adding roughly 35,000 square feet of meeting space, with the resort targeting spring 2027. The casino is being expanded. There's a new pool with two waterslides and a large hot tub planned, along with more than 40,000 square feet of event space.
Hiring at the property is unlikely to stop with these twelve roles.
Where it is
River Cree Resort and Casino sits on Enoch Cree Nation just west of Edmonton, at 300 East Lapotac Blvd.
Hell's Kitchen is taking over the space formerly occupied by The Kitchen.
