There are 114 jobs open in Lethbridge right now, across 14 employers on our job board.
They go well beyond campus jobs. There are water treatment operators starting above $40 an hour, millwright and plant work, engineering roles, bank jobs, grocery and warehouse shifts, openings with the Lethbridge Police Service, and even a research job tracking owls.
Two employers are new this week: the City of Lethbridge, which also posts for Lethbridge Police Service, and Richardson International, which runs the canola crush plant in the city.
Several City jobs close in October.

The City of Lethbridge: $40-an-hour plant jobs to senior management
The City's 11 openings run from the water treatment plant to the executive level. Three list pay outright.
It's hiring two Water Treatment Plant Operators, both paying $40.96 to $46.66 an hour and closing Oct. 30: one permanent and one term.
A Community Programs Coordinator pays $53.91 an hour and closes Oct. 14.
At the management level, a Corporate Services Financial and Administration Manager pays $115,830 to $144,787 a year.
The City is also hiring an Internal Controls Analyst, a Traffic and Planning Manager, a Transportation Operations Manager, and a General Manager of Transportation and Transit.
If you have a trade or technical background, the water operator jobs are the ones to look at. They're full-time, they start above $40 an hour, and the City is hiring two at once.

Lethbridge Police Service is recruiting
Three of the City's listings are with Lethbridge Police Service.
One is its Police Officer intake. The other two are civilian jobs: a full-time, fixed-term Digital Forensic Examiner, and a part-time Police Records Integrity Technician.
So you don't have to become an officer to work for LPS. None of the three shows a closing date yet.
Richardson has four jobs at the canola plant
All four of Richardson International's Lethbridge openings are plant jobs: a Crush Operator, a Millwright, an Operator 6, and a QA Technician on a 21-month term.
These are the industrial jobs the Lethbridge board was missing. Most of what was listed before was on a campus or in a store.

Stantec has 14 engineering and environmental jobs

Three went up on Sept. 30 alone: a Senior Structural Engineer, an Intermediate Structural Engineer, and an Intermediate Structural Technologist in construction services.
The rest lean toward water and the environment, which fits southern Alberta. They include an Intermediate Water Resources Engineer in irrigation, a Western Canada Irrigation Lead, a Civil Technologist in water, a Senior CAD Technologist, and several contaminated sites environmental roles.
The university and polytechnic: 40 jobs, many not teaching
The University of Lethbridge has 28 openings and Lethbridge Polytechnic has 12. Plenty aren't teaching jobs.
At the university, recent postings include a full-time Grounds Worker III, an Electrician, a Financial Analyst, a Planning Assistant and a Project Manager. A casual Grounds Worker II pays $24.43 an hour.
The casual Standardized Patient job is still open. It pays $26.18 to $28.97 an hour to play a patient so medical students can practise.
At the top end, the university is hiring a Canada Research Chair in Genomics in Precision Health.
At Lethbridge Polytechnic, openings range from Kodiaks athletics game-day staff to an Instructional Assistant in massage therapy, a Carpentry Centre Technician, a Laboratory Technician and a Recruiter in digital engagement. It's also hiring instructors for its powerline and heavy equipment technician apprenticeship programs.
For students, one of the more unusual listings on the whole board: a Senior Student Research Assistant on a project tracking Northern Saw-whet Owls.
